The Seeds for Needs Initiative works with farmers to research how agricultural biodiversity can help minimize the risks associated with climate change. In Honduras, Bioversity International and the Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural School are working together with smallholder farming communities and providing training on the management of diverse bean varieties.
