The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services has released the 2014 schedule of Downtown Tiffin Farmers’ Markets. According to John Detwiler, President and CEO, six markets have been scheduled, one each on the second Saturday of the month June through October plus an additional Saturday on July 26. “We schedule the second July date so that our customers can take full advantage of the bounty at that time of year”, he said. All markets will be held on Washington Street between E Market and E Perry Streets from 9am – 1pm. Detwiler said that additional downtown activities will include a sidewalk sale on each of the market days plus the Art Fair and Art Walk on August 9 and Jazzn’ Tiffin on September 13. Other activities are being planned. Market dates are as follows: Saturday June 14, Saturday July 12, Saturday July 26, Saturday August 9, Saturday September 13 and Saturday October 11. Vendors interesting in participating in the farmers’ markets should call the Regional Chamber at 419-447-4141 for details.
