The Shaukeens is absolutely steady as film has registered similar collection on Tuesday (5th day) as on Monday (4th day). Film has collected an estimated 2.75-3 crore nett on day 5. Thus, film total collection after 5 days is about 24+ crore nett. The Shaukeens has started slowly at box office. Also film registered limited growth through the weekend. But film steady collection in weekdays is something to look forward and it is enabling film to head for a decent first week collection. Film can still push for 30 crore nett first week numbers which is very much respectable considering the weekend numbers. The Shaukeens had Akshay Kumar as the face value and trade expected that film will do much better business than what it is doing now. Plus, film got released in good screens across India. Considering all these factors, film has under performed till date and will do at least 5 crore less than what trade expected for week one. Collection Breakup - Friday - 5 crore nett Saturday - 6.3 crore nett. Sunday - 7 crore nett. Monday - 2.8 crore nett. Tuesday - 2.75-3 crore nett (est). Total - 24.1 crore nett (approx).
