It would also be interesting to see a list of charities started and run by Christians, vs. those started and run by Muslims. One site I visited had over 84,706 Christian Charities and Nonprofit Organizations, and 1,271 Muslim Charities and Nonprofit Organizations. Of the Muslim non-profits I scanned, many did not have mission statements, and others said ORGANIZE RELIGIOUS PRAYER SERVICES or To provide a prayer place for the Muslim Community of Hayward, California. Scanning the Christian ones, I found youth shelters, homeless shelters, community service groups, prison ministries, shelters for abused women and children, soup kitchens, ministries providing water for international communities without a clean water supply, clothes for the needy...the list goes on and on.
