The Short List I had a dream last night that I was on the ‘short list’ of a Catholic priest, who had the stature of a Tim Tebow, who was very ill. Now how can that make a devotional for public consumption? You wait and see, while I tell the Scripture and meaning that came to me as I was making my morning coffee. Ezekel 22:30..And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. People who are very famous, and people who are very ill, have a ‘short list’. A list of people they will see anytime the person shows up. Usually close family members or dearly loved and trusted friends. Who is more important than God? Who is sicker than those in sin? God is looking for us to be ‘standing in the gap’, ‘show up, and be on His ‘short list’ for those in need of a Savior. Are you willing to be on God’s ‘short list’ and ‘stand in the gap’ for those around you in need? Can you, in an instant, be the one who encourages, prays and uphold, someone in need?
