Some men are choosing to expose the scalp by having their hair clippered extremely tight, producing an exaggerated or disconnected look, while others are keeping slightly more length and opting for a slick finish with all the hair styled off the face. But which way is best for you? Well, it’s important to take your face shape into account. If you have a round or square looking face then having too much length through the sides can make it appear wider that it is. On the flip side, if your face is long or diamond shaped then you may look better with length through the sides to help balance your proportions. Don’t forget that tight back and sides will also need maintaining in order to keep the cut looking sharp.
