The Showstoppers 12U Navy and 14U Columbia opened up the tournament season this past weekend which both teams played well! Maggie Mahan recorded the first no-hitter in the Show Softballs existence for the 12U team. Alyssa Wilson and Scarlett Gillette were also tough on the mound over the weekend. Callie Wiley had 15 steals over the weekend while hitting over 700. Meaghan Cunningham, Bella Richard, Alyssa Wilson, Scarlett Gillette, Julia Pitman, and Meredith Landers all hit the ball hard! Brooke Fleming was a wall behind the plate and threw a couple runners out trying to steal. The 14s were led by pitchers Olivia Keane who had a win over the weekend and 5 ks while reliever Veronica Burke had 4 ks. The offense was led by Ashley Cocchiaro who had a couple of triples, Hannah Littlewood who also had a great game behind the dish, Sarah Carmichael, Caleigh Schmitt, Maddie Rostello, Abby Myers who all contributed with a few hits.
