The Shulamite Shes been compared to an army with banners, to the Arabian horse in Pharoahs chariot, only the best and the strongest. People have abused her, even the Watchmen beat her, and took her veil, she could not see the beauty in herself, as the One she loved spoke of her beauty, of her loyalty, as He spoke to her of her, she held her head in shame...not wanting to be looked upon...I am dark, with sin, but her Beloved spoke, O but you are lovely. When the Shulamite, sees herself as her Beloved sees her...she realizes why no one has truly called her by her name, for He has given her a new name, for so she is called...the Shulamite, the peaceful one. Now she knows, her Beloved, is the Prince of Peace, and in Him, she has found her peace. Her captivity has been taken captive, now she can rest in the peace that only intimacy, in the chambers of the King can bring. Son_1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee. Son_2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. ~srm
