Julia Malkin, Director of Training and Development at ExcelDIA, is a DSA Fleet registered and ORDIT-registered trainer and received a Grade 6 at the first check test, followed by a high-end Fleet Grade 5 at the second, despite having autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Irlen’s syndrome and ADHD. Her husband Colin Malkin, who supports her at workshops and conferences, has dyslexia. Thursday 29th August at 8pm - Life After Learners Our guest Dave Miller, an ADI will be talking to us about his career progression and life teaching not just learners to drive. Dave has had a very exciting career in the business from teaching learner and qualified/improver drivers and taxi/private hire drivers to pass their UK driving licence, and/or, to improve upon their existing driving skills, through remedial training, which includes provision of off road and specialist driving tuition services. Dave has provides off-road driving instruction and trains instructors at the Land Rover Experience. He has gained B.O.R.D.A Instructor qualification, and the much higher BORDA Specialist Trainer Qualification, the Lantra Awards 4x4 Freelance Instructor qualifications and the IOPD Advanced Vehicle Control Trainer class A.
