The Sleeper Has Awakened 3: The Matrix Was it Really a Movie or You Must be Trippin to Write Some Shit Like This…Fool Or Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places.. I was a Sixties baby and grew up in Brooklyn, NY on Eastern Parkway. My fondest memories were playing street games with my neighborhood friends and going to see the Mets at Shea Stadium. I even remember one Summers day listening to Sly and the Family Stone’s “Hot Funn in the Summer Time”, some how that day has remained what a Summer should be… Memories… My how time has changed in the last decade night life revenue has shrunk dramatically. There would be dozens of bars, discos, and nite-clubs to go to visit on any night. I myself liked to dance, get out on the floor and have a great time. Find a partner and do the hustle or freestyle. On occasion you would see someone that caught your eye and you would concoct a way to approach them and see if there was any connection, have a drink talk or dance the night away… sometimes it led to more… A Dance Turned Into A Romance “The Jones Girls” holla… Sometimes not, but you would come the next night or weekend to start anew… Well those years are long gone and now we have a new past time and it is the Internet… Chat on AOL, Match.Com, eHarmony and Adam4 Adam. Just type up who you think you are and who you think that you are looking for and in just a click of the mouse they will appear at your inbox. The Silent/Quiet type, the Athletic Girl/Guy that likes children, the Intellectual, The Girl/Guy that has a Strong Sense of Family…They are all in there or are they? Well now we have Hook-up websites that supply us with instant gratification… turn on your computer, tablet or phone and chat away… Look up any profile on that you think matches and Voilå they Magically Appear. Hmmm.. Just Like Me Lucky Charms… The only problem is that someone is lying, we are trying to be who we want to be or running away from who we are. We can also have unresolved issues with a past relationships that revisits and corrupts the current. Rarely do individuals meet and have a successful relationship from meeting online, your always on the constant lookout for a fault and waiting for the other shoe to drop… Watching, Waiting, Wondering, When it is going to happen, instead of really trying to get to know the person. We have a wish list and a criteria of what we are looking for, They Must: Be, Do, Have, Need. But in reality it is us that is lacking and it why we have the criteria/list in the first place, we must fill our needs before we take on the needs of another. Because of this new deep conditioning when we meet someone that does not meet our qualifications for Ms/Mr Right we jump right back on the horse back down that rabbit hole…. Your New Artificial Reality… Begins Again A Never Ending Cycle. Wash... Rinse... Repeat... When I was 15 years I read “Looking for Mr. Goodbar”.. It’s a story about a teacher that goes to bars at night and meets men….. Well she dies at the end… Very Thought Provoking… That Scared the Shit Out of Me… Now whats my user name and ID I remember its Sweetcheeks69... And How You Doin....
