The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine have formed a partnership to give fourth-year veterinary students the opportunity to work alongside rescue experts in a two-week program at the Houston SPCA, exposing them to shelter medicine and animal welfare. "The program will give the students a deeper understanding of animal welfare, animal abuse and philanthropy while improving the health and well-being of animals." cmln.co/13AWSgq Do you know a veterinary school that might benefit from a similar program? Please share this story with them!
