The Sociopath will always accuse YOU of the very thing they are guilty of themselves! They do this to deflect the attention away from the real culprit, themselves. It kind of reminds me of watching Looney Tunes as a kid. One of the L.T. characters was a skunk named Peppy LePew. In one episode, the lovesick Peppy tries to woo a cat who doesnt want anything to do with him because he is a skunk. So Peppy comes up with the bright idea to paint his white stripe black and pretend to be a cat. The problem was it wasnt just his stripe that let her know he wasnt a cat. It was (of course) his SMELL. And after he got around the cat for a while his odor eventually hit her nostrils and she became aware of his deception. A skunk can pretend to be a cat for a while. He might even convince a few people by screaming Im a cat! Im not a skunk! Everybody else is a skunk! Look at me - I dont even have a white stripe! but eventually... the smell will come out and everyone will know the truth. Its in their nature. Simply put: you can cover them up, paint them different colors, and call them anything you want but inevitably their smell will slip out again. Bottom line is skunks just flat out stink and arent known by their stripes NEARLY as much as theyre known by their smell. While one is able to be concealed w/paint and made to look pretty and shiny on the outside, the other cannot be hidden for long b/c it is what defines the skunk for who he really is. Unless the smell is somehow removed, it is inevitable that it will always eventually slip out revealing his true colors ...... and his true smell ....... LaPew!!!)
