The Spalding County Emergency Management Agency recently held a graduation ceremony for the participants of the Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) training program. This is the second time this program that has been offered to the public. The purpose of this program is to provide our citizens with the knowledge and the skills to assist in preparation and caring for themselves and others during times of emergency or disaster. The training includes first aid, fire safety and disaster preparation. CERT Graduates for this session are: Cindy Jones, Steve Jones, Mary Miller, Marty Miller, Teri Totten, Charles Norman, Saline Moore, Rose Torres, Jimmy Passmore, Beth Batchelor, Sandra Hone, Steven Hone, Jackie Roberson and Patricia Dabbs.
