The Spirit of Jezebel - Which voice do you listen to? 1 Kings 21:17 verse 19 why? Because you did nothing for Me. You listened to the voice of jezebel, you sold yourself to do evil. Jesus meeting the woman in Samaria: Jesus asks the woman; how may husbands do you have? Why? this spirit of Jezebel was ruling everybody. The gentiles and the Jews were drinking from the same well - the well of Jacob and it was not lawful for the two to meet. So Jesus, had to come to this city where Ahab was king to finish off this generational curse of jezebel. After drinking from Christ, she would now go back to the people and bring them to Christ. Jesus said; drink from me meaning she was previously drinking from somewhere else. Notice, Jesus didnt have to come and lay His hand on her but by just talking to her He dealt with the spirit. Listen now; what happened to the woman? No demon came out but she repented and was freed. [This spirit of jezebel does not need laying on of hands, healing, deliverance, counselling - it takes repentance from the heart! you would be wasting your time doing these] This spirit even made the greatest prophet Elija to flee and the voice asked; what are you doing here, Elija? Why this question? Elija had a spirit of fear fleeing from jeszebel and ended up losing his position to Elisha. Now Jesus had to come and free her and thus winning the rest of them over to Christ. The moment you remain with the voice you first heard anyone who touches you touches God!
