The Spokesman-Review today covered our wishes for Spokane Transit Authority to delay its renovation of its downtown plaza until more discussions with the business community can take place to address the behavior of some in and around the plaza. We are forever in favor of public transit and believe it is a crucial economic development tool, but we also believe there needs to be wise investments made so it can remain a safe attraction. To do that, we believe more input is necessary.
