The Star Screen Award 2008 Few days back I saw the movie Ghajini and I was bowled over. I saw my movie after that. When I was coming from London to Bombay, 2 days back and I saw Singh is King again. Obviously, I couldnt help but compare our work. Thats when I knew without any doubt that the Best actor this year by far, according to me is Mr. Aamir Khan for Ghajini. What that man did for his movies was pure dedication. Its always they say, Historic. Thats what I feel and I refuse to be the man that pretends to take this away from him. Im not going to take it away from him, at all. I know that this moment is never going to come again in my life but I cant walk out from here holding something I know which doesnt belong to me. Im sure I havent offended my people who have voted for me. But Im still here striving for your love, for your support and may be one day Ill win it back again. I hurts me to say, it really does and I thank you with all my heart but Aamir, this one is for you mate. You deserve it! - Akshay Kumar If I look for a star with unbelievable humility, ofcourse Akshays name strikes my mind after Aamirs. A man who refused to take his own very first award because he believed someone else deserved it more than him.. The mans humility and down to earth character does not need any more explanation! I wish Akshay Kumar a very HAPPY 47th Birthday. May God bless him with good health and long life full of success and prosperity.
