The Start-up Club of Kolkata is a completely student based and student operated organization which helps the students gain a corporate experience. There are twenty-one managerial positions at stake – five top-level and sixteen mid-level managerial positions. This is an opportunity for every student to develop and enhance their skills of leadership and management. Advantages for Students: 1. Upon successful completion of tenure, every student will get a Job Certification stating his/her roles and achievements during the tenure. Job Summary: All the students applying for the twenty-one managerial positions are to be selected through a comprehensive interview process. Twenty-one management positions are being offered. The top five positions, i.e, CEO, COO, CFO, CMO and CBO will be responsible for handling department specific duties (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Business Development), leading their teams, reporting to the board etc. The executives will be an integral part of strategizing, planning and execution. The executives stand a chance to be promoted to higher posts based on performance and dedication over a period of time. The tenure of the selected students starts from 2nd week of April, 2014 and ends in 2nd week of September, 2014. The tenure for the selected students can be extended after six months, based on performance and requirement. A new set of students will be added to the current team every six months through a comprehensive interview process conducted by the concerned authorities. Who can apply Indian and International Students enrolled at an accredited Indian High School, College or University in a full-time/distance education course in Higher Secondary, Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. or equivalent program are eligible to apply.
