The State Department of Education (SDE) informed districts - TopicsExpress

The State Department of Education (SDE) informed districts yesterday that they will be required to participate in MORE testing! While the SDE is relieving some testing off of middle schoolers in advanced math classes (which will also negatively affect the schools A-F grade), they are adding an additional 4-7 days of work for stress testing for the two testing companies. This often causes students to have to be moved out of rooms for these tests and disrupts teaching/learning time. If the school does not participate in this mandatory stress testing, their funding is being threatened. We must elect an educator with administrative experience as the new state superintendent. One who will fight for our children and make positive changes in 2014! Vote DONNA ANDERSON FOR STATE SUPERINTENDENT! facebook/DonnaForOklahoma A complete explanation of this situation can be found at okeducationtruths.wordpress
