> The State Use Law Commission, the body responsible for advancing the number of employment opportunities made available through State Use Contracts, released its Annual Report to the Governor for this past year; DelARF, KSI, Delaware Industries for the Blind and our participating members have produced some very powerful outcomes as a result of this important statute. > > > > We are very pleased by the impact that DelARF’s State Use Program has had on the community of persons with disabilities that is served by our members. This past year, 592 people with disabilities obtained meaningful work in various industries throughout the state, earned $4,474,770 in wages, worked 371,317 hours, and earned an average wage of $12.05/hour! These wages earned helped save taxpayers over $1.4 million in reduced entitlements and contribute to the state’s bottom line through increased taxes. > > > > DelARF would like to acknowledge the unsung heroes who play such an integral role in making this program such a success.
