The State should pay the citizens of Detroit to build new houses in the abandoned lots that are becoming garbage dumps and to fix up homes in bad condition and pay them a fair wage, and set the houses at afforable prices so the workers can rent out some of the houses they got paid to build. It fixes and cleans up the city, and the city of Detroit benefits from it. The state should nationalize the car industries and pay the citizens to work there, sell the cars at affordable prices, and export some; use the profits to put back into the state and pay the workers. Just a thought.
