Speaker: Vignes A/L Gopal Krishna is a fast track PhD student and SLAI fellow with a joint scholarship of Bright Sparks and SLAI at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya (UM). In his duration as a researcher, he has taken up roles of a volunteer, session chair/moderator, presenter, participant, trainer, facilitator and etc for a few international conferences, workshops on statistical &research tools and website creation. He also has presented 18 conference papers, and published various papers in conference proceedings and journals, including in an ISI journal. As an invited speaker for the 2nd ISWA Summer School, he gave a lecture on the Multidimensional momentum of solid waste management between the heterogeneous models of economic agents. Course Description: This 1 day workshop will provide certain levels of understanding on some basic features of Stata that are grounded on the list of commands, data management, graphical presentations and etc. The main focus of the workshop will be on the analysis of Time series Data. The topics that will be covered during the workshop will be touching on non-parametric tests, analysis of cross tabulations, regression analysis, diagnostic tests, descriptive statistics, causality tests, normality tests, data transformation and etc.
