The Stone Cape was constructed in 1921, made from stones from each of the 48 states. The Gothic Style Addition designed by D.C. architect Stephen Muse, was completed in 1993, consisting of Kitchen/ Great Room Study behind Great Room, Garden Entrance, Powder Room, Master Bath and Closets. The idea was to Increase living space and Open the house to its 1.85 lush manicured acres. The Neo-Classical Conservatory, designed by local architect Charles Aquino, was completed in 1998. The most recent renovation of the main house, completed in 2008 by the current owners, included an addition, the idea being to, once again, Increase living space, and Compliment it to the existing configuration. It entailed a Second Front Entrance, Second Stairway, Additional BR Suite on 2nd level. A complete renovation of the existing structure to include a Master Suite with BR, separate His & Her Baths(shower adjoins) and Laundry Room on the 1st level, Kitchen/Great Room , Study, and the new addition, masterfully blends in with the new! HP Floors, Tongue & Groove Fir wallboard, Custom made Paneled Doors, Wrought Iron hinges & rim locks throughout. Wonderful Gardens, featuring Hallways, and Olympic Pool.
