The Student Union would like to extend its condolences for the death of one of our fellow students. Mohamed Samir Ghanima a mechanical engineering student died on Friday the 26th of July as a result of gun shots. There are no confirmed accounts of what exactly happened. However, four other fellow students were with Mohamed when he was shot. Two of them were injured and are currently receiving treatment. We would like to wish them a speedy recovery. We would also like to extend our condolences to the families and loved ones of all the students we lost in the past few years. In the last 4 or 5 years many dear lives have been lost and what we need to do now; is pray for all of them, and make sure their lives were not lost in vain.
