The Sturgis Girls golf team captured a third straight Wolverine Conference jamboree Thursday afternoon and moved into sole possession of 1st place. The Lady Trojans finished with a score of 191 with 2nd place Plainwell shooting a 202. Freshmen Katie Horn led the way with a 46 while Taylor Clark and Jessica Griffioen each shot 47. Other scores for Sturgis were Allison Harker 51 and Hannah Taylor and Taylor Williams each with 53. The Lady Trojans now lead the Wolverine with 1 jamboree to play. That will be played Monday at Island Hills. Sturgis will host their own 12 team Invitational tomorrow at Island Hills.
