The Sunshine Bears remember one of their own. Pre-K teacher, Travis Foster, led his students around Sunshine like a “Papa Bear”, guiding his cubs out of the den and into the exciting new world of learning. Hands clasped behind backs, he silently walked his students through the halls, past classrooms filled with cubs of other years. And he acted the part perfectly with his stern bear-like structure and expression. Behind it all, was a big Teddy bear with a huge heart and the passion for teaching tiny ones. And they loved him...we all did. Our Sunshine “Papa” Bear will be missed, but his giant paw prints will forever be imprinted in the halls, classrooms, and playgrounds at Sunshine Elementary School.
