The Supreme Court has appointed a sitting judge to monitor road - TopicsExpress

The Supreme Court has appointed a sitting judge to monitor road accidents in the country. He will have experts to advise him. The court is now increasingly taking over functions which were in the government domain. Taking over the administration of a temple is the latest instance. Why should we have elections which are costly when we can leave governance to judges? According to the Bible, judges, not Kings, ruled over the Jews for about 400 years after the death of Joshua. While SC rules the country, we can appoint judicial officers to hear cases. In any case, some judges have stopped writing judgements.
