The Supreme court has ruled that Corporations deserve the same rights as people when it comes to political contributions. Under the current case they are deciding if Corporations have the right to make decisions regarding religion and social issues. Since Corporations can not speak for themselves, the owners have that right. The court will open a can or worms because infants and minors are people who are not allowed to speak for themselves. They can not vote. If the Supreme court rules that owners can make social decisions for the Corporations then parents should be able to vote for minors, etc. I do not think they want to go down that road.
