The Sweden election outcome is roughly what the polls have been saying for a long time, so its not really a surprise. Kudos to Fredrik Reinfeldt for having kept the racists at bay during his period, and sacrificed a lot of votes for this purpose. Now its Stefan Löfvéns turn to find a suitable coalition to keep the racists out of influence. Overall, I dont think the people of Sweden have fully appreciated the enormously difficult circumstances the Alliance have been through; and the loose tightrope Fredrik Reinfeldt with much effort have succeeded in scaling. Stefan Lövfén will now be up against challenges his team seems inadequately equipped to handle. Good luck to him! Last time racism was on a rampage, there was an S-M alliance. Perhaps now a solidification of core Swedish values and the firm rejection of racism will require such alliance again. The emerging threat of Russian neo-fascism (essentially a rebranding of communism) should also be taken seriously. And as Annika Elgeskog said, if any of my FB friends or followers have voted for SD, kindly delete me without delay. Swedish version will follow ;-)
