The Sydney Sixers host the Perth Scorchers on Monday, December 29 in Round 3 of the 2014/15 Big Bash League.MORE: Live Coverage - Sydney Sixers v Perth Scorchers What: Big Bash League Who: Sixers v Scorchers When: Monday, December 29 - 7.10pm (AEDT) Where: The SCG I Can Watch It On: Channel 10 Form Guide: Sixers: WWW Scorchers: LW 20-20 Vision: The Sixers have made one change to their squad after Saturday nights win over local rivals the Thunder, with batsman Ed Cowan coming in to replace fast bowler Ben Dwarshuis. The undefeated Sixers have been in fine form early in the season, with their 16 run win over an impressive Thunder outfit highlighting their strength with both bat and ball. Riki Wessels (50 from 33 balls) set up the win, with Sean Abbott (2/28 from 4 overs) and veteran Brett Lee (1/28 from 4 overs) doing the business with the ball. Perth have opened up their campaign with one win and a loss, repsonding to a narrow defeat to the Adelaide Strikers with an easy win against the Melbourne Renegades thanks largely to an incredible innings from Michael Klinger. The opener ended with 105 not out of 60 balls before paceman Jason Behrendorff went on with the job, taking 2/16 from his four overs. Reason To Watch: These two sides have quite a history, having played in the inagural Big Bash League final in 2011-12 with the Sixers running out seven wicket victors. Since then the rivarly has only intensified, the latest instalment being the Scorchers memorable Super Over win over the Sixers in last seasons semi final. With the leagues two leading bowlers in the form of Lee and Behrendorff on show, along with Klinger, Wessels, Cowan and Scorchers star Yasir Arafat, why wouldnt you want to watch? Reason To Turn Away: There really isnt one. Say What: Its always been a good clash against Perth, whether its been in Perth or in Sydney we always have some pretty close battles against them so were really looking forward to it. Hopefully we can it four wins in a row - Sixers captain Moises Henriques ahead of Monday nights clash. Final Word: The Sixers have looked unstoppable so far this season and while the Scorchers are full of potential matchwinners, it is hard to see the Sydneysiders going down in front of what promises to be a big crowd at the SCG. Sixers in a tight one.
