The TRUE highlight of our zoo trip was the orangutans. In my opinion this is worth zoo admission price alone. They interact with visitors through the glass and their individual personalities are very much evident. We watched the youngest walk above our heads outside. Then we watched a visitor draw a picture of Knobi. She was absolutely posing for him, she knew exactly what he was up to. When he showed her his picture she studied it intently and was very pleased by it! They have so much room there also. They can get around through tunnels and such that visitors cant see. If they want to be alone, they just take themselves off to one of the private areas. And again, the ability to walk around on the ropes outside was awesome. I was highly impressed.
