The Temple News exclusively reported this morning that the university will be expanding its patrolling borders by 25 square blocks and will report more off-campus crimes to its students. Charlie Leone, executive director of campus safety services, said that reporting on the brick incident and student frustration about a lack of alerts got the ball rolling on the change, and I cant help but to think back on the FIVE editorials, THREE opinion pieces and FOUR+ news powerful articles TTN wrote on this issue and related incidents just this past school year. I feel very proud today.
