The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is warning local businesses to watch out for a scam. Last week, four local businesses on Martin Luther King were targeted by a couple who entered the stores and while attempting to make change with the cashier, confused the cashiers and stole money. The incidents occurred on Thursday at Orange Leaf, Kirkland’s, Ulta, and Firehouse Subs. The couple is described as a black male and a black female, approximately 30-35 years of age. If anyone has any information concerning this crime, please contact Crimestoppers or TPSO.
