The There And Back Again adventure has just arrived in Australia! Because of the range of the R66 helicopters the port of entry was an important factor for us at General Aviation Support Egypt - G.A.S.E. and we settled on the resort island called Horn - YHID. This is just off the northern tip of Queensland and consists of the airport and one resort. But it has full Customs and Immigration facilities and that is what we needed. The crew will overnight here before continuing to Cairns tomorrow. A big well done to the fellowship in their two aircraft and a big welcome to a new continent for them.
