The Things That Makes a Difference Sure Word for Today: God gives me Hope “Anyone who can be trusted in little matters can also be trusted in important matters. But anyone who is dishonest in little matters will be dishonest in important matters.” Luke 16:10 (CEV) Many couples that were going for divorce, sitting down and counselling at first looks tough because most of them come to me when they have already made up their mind to divorce so coming to me is an act of fulfilling all righteousness. They are not interested in what I have to say and I am not willing to convince them not to go ahead with the divorce but I am ready to waste their time and ask questions and respond to their answers. One thing I find that is common to them all is the fact that what actually cause the anger that leads to the divorce are very little things that might mean nothing to other couples. Also in the same light I have found out that it is little things that makes a difference that will empower them to want to give it a go and determine to be committed and make it work. In today’s world, we’re faced with overwhelming challenges both professionally and in our personal lives. We often feel stuck and don’t even know where to start. But we can all tap into the unbelievable power we have within to “get going” and make a huge difference in our lives and the lives of others. How? You will be surprise but by starting small with tiny little steps. The truth is you need a very tiny faith as tiny as a mustard seed. The little things we neglect are the most important in our lives that makes the difference. Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness, and small obligations given habitually, are what preserve the heart and secure comfort. God tests and proves us by the common occurrences of life. It is the little things which reveal the chapters of the heart. There are many of us that are willing to do great things for the Lord, but few of us are willing to do little things. You need to stop despising the day of little beginning and understand what it means to thank God for little.
