The Third Voice (1960) Edmond OBrien, Julie London, Laraine Day Been trying to find this film for ages and now here it is thanks to good old youtube. Its every bit as good as I remember it. Almost a one man show for Edmond OBrien - hes in practically every scene and can be said to play a dual role (youll see what I mean when you watch the movie.) Theres a lot of telephone conversations - it could almost be radio play but its not a talking heads picture, theres lots of action and suspense. Theres an impersonation, a supposedly perfect murder, a jealous woman and loads of money involved in the plot and theres also a luscious Julie London in a non singing role proving that she can act. The ending is a knockout and watch out for that sinister black bird that appears now and again as a sort of harbinger of plot highlights. https://youtube/watch?v=QC5b2zFkxEg
