The Thompson Operation Red Nose committee, would not have the success that is has without everyone contributing in some way(s). This especially includes our partners who make it possible for us to do what we do. Having said that, the Thompson Red Nose committee took it upon themselves to further recognize one of our crucial partners. Every year Volunteer Manitoba asks for Manitobans to recognize and nominate people and groups who make a difference. One of those awards is the Golden Hand Media award. This is presented to 1 media outlet within the City of winnipeg and 1 media outlet for the rest of the province. In recognizing their support to us over the years, and that they are celebrating their 50th year in Thompson, we choose to nominate Arctic Radio for this award. We are EXTREMELY PROUD to announce that they have been choosen as the recipient for 2014. Thank-you to Arctic Radio for all that they do for us!!!!!
