The Tiger who came to the RCH. “Once there was a little girl called Sophie, and she was having tea with her Mummy in the kitchen. Suddenly there was a ring at the door…” Fans of the classic childrens book ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’ by Judith Kerr will be very familiar with our new visitor on Main Street. The Arts Centre Melbourne has donated the tiger sculpture from their production of The Tiger who came to Tea to the hospital. The Arts at the RCH (ARCH) program and Educational Institute will facilitate storytelling and art activities based on the tiger and the story. The tiger will appear in different places around the hospital over the next few weeks, so look out for our furry friend when you are here.
