The Tigers, Lionesses are here (By Rhondor Dowlat) TWO white tigers were among five big cats that arrived at the Emperor Valley Zoo in St Anns last evening. The new additions are: three Bengal tigers (1 white male, 1 white female and 1 ginger female; two lionesses, 1 white and one normal color. The Asian and African exhibit will be formerly opened by the Minister of Tourism, Chandresh Sharma today at 1 pm. The cats began their journey on Sunday afternoon from Pretoria, South Africa, to London and then their new home, Trinidad on a BA flight. Only the pilots knew that this precious cargo was on board. Up to late last night, zoo officials were with the cats ensuring that they settle in good in their new habitat. They have already said to be settled.
