The Transparency Act is doing exactly what they planned...causing further divisions amongst our people and leadership. True collaborative resolution is a challenge in a post traumatic society dealing with personal issues from many aspects of colonization. They know we are unable to resolve our disputes among ourselves because we lack the intuitive social skills for dispute resolution. To truly resolve conflict in our communities...there must be safe space for expression of emotions, feelings and concerns and a keen sense of active listening for the people involved to feel like theyve been heard and that information must be disseminated and recapped to the collective people so that valid decisions on further actions can be made. They throw money at us...we fight...they throw numbers at us...we fight...they throw food at us...well fight. We are being conditioned to destroy our community values over this transparency that only creates rifts within communities, racism from the settler population and mistrust for the ideology of leadership from here on in. We are being played. Take this stat holiday to think of colonialisms influence on how we interact with each other on the birthday of this Province of British Columbia. Our interaction comes from deep rooted multi-generational social ailments that teach us to be separated from ourselves and to look at those around us as enemies and potential predators. Only active listening and collaborative expression towards resolution will get us through to the next level of how we deal with delinquency and accountability in the next phase of our resurgence from this form of slavery we are a part of. It IS slavery as long as we count on these transfer payments and their puppet hands controlling our leaders, our resources and our minds. #JustAnIdea
