Entry 46 The Colors Textures and Flavors of December having just read [several days ago] the latest news regarding the tragedy of the still-missing malaysia flight M-370, i had prepared todays journal entry on that story - however, oddly enough when i woke this morning - in the middle of the month of winters december - i woke to the chirping of a bird out my window - and i lay there thinking how unusual it was for this time of year, and particularly because i am on the 9th floor of my building and dont remember having heard the chirping of a bird since i have been here - when i got online a bit later, this was the very first piece of poetry i came across: We are nearer to Spring Than we were in September, I heard a bird sing In the dark of December. – Oliver Herford, I Heard a Bird Sing and so, in light of that synchronicity, todays journal entry is now about the month of december - with a focus on a few of the wonderful elements of nature - enjoy - may your december be filled with love light and beauty...
