The Trenton Golden Hawks took the lead against the Kingston Voyageurs in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 4-2 victory. A goal 4:07 into the first period by Jason Zaleski proved to be the game winner, and powered Trenton to the victory. Zach de Concilys provided the assist. With the win, the Golden Hawks evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Trenton was led by Mathew Thompson, who registered one goal. Thompson scored on the power play 3:12 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Trenton. The Golden Hawks had gotten the advantage when Kingstons Adam Brady was sent off for holding. Dylan Savory assisted on the tally. Trenton put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Voyageurs to score on any of their three power plays. Others who scored for Trenton included Danny Liscio and Ryan Kinsella, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Chrisitian Lloyd, who had one. Kingston was helped by Spencer Green, who had one goal. Green scored 4:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Trenton. Brandon OQuinn picked up the assist. Mason Nowak also scored for Kingston. In addition, Kingston received assists from Michael Crocock, Michael Stevens, and Brody Heleno, who contributed one each. Denny Dubblestyne made 25 saves for the Golden Hawks on 27 shots. Trenton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Sam Tanguay recorded 22 saves for the Voyageurs. Kingston incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
