The Trinity is not a symbol of various religious, metaphysical or psychological concepts, nor is the Trinity tritheistic (3 gods) or exist in 3 different modes or aspects. The doctrine of the Trinity was never derived from ancient pagans. In fact, the only rational explanation of the Trinity is divine revelation. “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Tim.2:5)
