The Truth is..................... According to recent studies, the life expectancy gap between the affluent and the working class is now over 12 years. While the rich get richer, they have access to excellent-quality health care, good food and the time and resources to maintain their health. The result is they are living longer lives. While the poor get poorer, they often have no health insurance, poor nutrition and the incredible stress inherent when people struggle day after day just to survive. The result is many working-class people are living shorter lives than their parents.
