The Turkish scholar Ilber Ortayli just criticized the President Erdogans statement as Half Fantasy . Naturally, the Western powers destroyed all possible evidences of the Spanish Moors after 1492 and half of history was hid under the blanket in the form of charcoal and dust. On what ground the scribe of this report attributed Mr. Knight as a historian of the Middle Ages, particularly that of the Navigational might of the Muslims at that time who had established their supremacy over all the three Oceans of the world.....Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. They controlled all the Oceanic routes for not less than a millennium. It is ridiculous that the Western Historians try to sideline the writings of Columbus and describe it as an allusion, while these historians mockingly described the site as a hill, if they were with Columbus. They saw the right site while Columbus failed to see it correctly. How ridiculous these arguments are. This article also quotes some absurd sentences from a novel of Mr. Knight. Does anywhere in the world a novel is quoted as a historical evidence. Only the fools can do it to befool the general people. Novel is never put as a source of historical authenticity . It is my request to the Turkish Historians to take it seriously and a research work on the subject be started in ISTANBUL and ANKARAUniversities. The hidden truths must DIGGED out.
