The “Turning Point” is a three days camp especially for young people to cater a decisive moment to choose either between self or Jesus Christ. This camp is in respond and in translation of God given burden to reassure the Rongmei youths irrespective of denominations the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ and also to be prepared to rely on God’s wisdom in matter of choosing life partner. Hence, the camp will undertake an explicit Biblical teaching on the what, why, and how to receive salvation that is available in Jesus Christ. Also, choosing life partner in God’s way is another important subject that will be addressed by peeping through the Bible. Furthermore, the speaker will engross the campers with challenging messages every night in regards to living a life of purity and the obligation of Christian youths in witnessing Christ in the society and church. In fact, it is a bitter truth and heart sickening that the greater part of Christian youth failed to resolve to live a life that glorifies God rather strive for self-glorifications. Many youths give first priority to things that are carnal. Things that are eternal is given secondary treatment and in some cases it is totally ignored. The scripture says, “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?...”(Matt. 16:26). Again, the scripture says, “. . . let your light shine before men, . . . ” (Matt. 5:16). Christian are expected to protect our identity that is in Christ by shining our light in this dark world no matter where we are. However, our light often grows dim when we are among the non-Christian friends. We were unable to let our light shine. Therefore, you need to stop and take a U-turn to Christ before you find yourself at the death end of your journey here on earth. This camp aims to rectify the problems that are holding you back from surrendering your life to Christ. God invites us to become His children by turning away from our sin and receiving Jesus Christ by faith as our Lord and Savior. Why wait?
