The Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous World Services 1. We admitted that we were powerless over our desire for money, property and prestige; that our greed had become unmanageable. 2. We came to believe that a World Board could create the illusion of sanity. 3. We made a decision to turn our Group Conscience and our Autonomy over to the care of NAWS Incorporated. 4. We made a searching and fearless financial inventory of our literature. 5. We admitted to NAWS, to ourselves, and to our effective leaders the exact margin of our profits. 6. We were entirely ready to have NAWS remove all objectionable content. 7. We humbly agreed to let World Services edit without open participation. 8. We made a list of all newcomers these practices harmed but remained willing to fleece them all. 9. We took direct advantage of those newcomers whenever possible, except when to do so would jeopardize future profits. 10. We continued to take financial inventory and if someone said this is wrong they were promptly marginalized. 11. We sought through suboxone and medication to improve our public relations contact with the drug courts, treatment industry and Hazleton. 12. Having experienced a financial windfall as a result of these steps we tried to force them on all member-addicts and to practice the principles of Beyond Membership Marketing in all our affairs.
