The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released a study about preventing the spread of Asian carp between the Mississippi River and Great Lakes. The report offers various alternatives, but it doesn’t make any definitive recommendation of action. Every day that we are not working on the solution, the Asian carp are getting closer to the Great Lakes. If they reach the Great Lakes, they will wreck havoc on the ecosystem of Lake Erie, and harm Ohios fishing and tourism industries. Please join me in helping to protect Lake Erie by clicking on the link below to urge the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to act now to create a permanent ecological separation between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River basin. We dont have time to wait. glmris.anl.gov/glmris-report/comments/
