The U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, grants to Congress - TopicsExpress

The U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, grants to Congress "...exclusive legislation...over such a district [i.e., Washington, D.C.] not exceeding 10 miles square..." So acts of Congress apply only to Washington, D.C. ----not the states. Under 4 USC, Section 72, "all offices attached to the seat of government shall be exercised in the District of Columbia and not elsewhere..." This means the FBI, BATF, IRS, ObamaCare et al., have no lawful jurisdiction in our state. In fact, nowhere in the Constitution are police powers delegated to the Federal government, by virtue of the 10th Amendment, all police powers are reserved to the states or the people." If some Federal agency starts to bother citizens of the state, you must raise this issue to avoid being railroaded by "silent consent" to the foreign D.C. jurisdiction. Citizens of the states cannot violate federal laws (gun control, tax law, ObamaCare etc) on state owned land---only on Federal land. The Constitution was written by the thirteen original states. The federal government was created by the states, via the Constitution, and exists to serve the states. Until the states delegated some powers to the new federal government, those powers belonged to the states. The states, of course, delegated only some of their powers to the federal government while retaining most of their powers for themselves. It is important to recognize that the states are the "boss" of the federal government! The states "hired" the federal government and set forth the rules as to how it should operate. The Constitution is a list of those rules. Just as a manager is expected to enforce company rules to manage employees, it is the responsibility of the states to enforce the Constitution to manage the federal government.
