The U.S. Transportation Security Administration says it stopped a man who had a loaded .38 caliber handgun in his carry-on luggage at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The agency says it happened Wednesday and says it handed the man over to Wayne County Airport Police, who arrested him on a local charge. TSA spokesman Michael S. McCarthy tells The Associated Press that the 56-year-old man says he didnt realize the gun was in his luggage.
