The U.S. Votes NO to: Peace and Safety in the middle east: In Re: UN Vote: Palestinian Statehood The US Official UN response to : Applicant for Palestinian Statehood Israel will never come to talk with the PA. Israel will never abide to any peace treaty, with her Arab Neighbors. And the US should know, that is but an illusion. Israels past is telling of her future: every time there is any sort of peace in the making, Israel disregards any treaties, further occupies more land, killing innocents in their path--as Noam Chomsky puts it, mowing the lawn. U.S. backing of Israels grizzly behavior of gaining land--by theft and cruel attacks--displacing the regions natives of origin creates the climate for only more attacks against our own interests. The core of the Zionist doctrine is the belief that beginning 1947, non-citizens having no prior connection to Palestine who are of European descent, suddenly became legally entitled to drive Palestinians from the their land--territory in which they had lived, for thousands of years--thus begetting the militarized occupation that we still see today.. The United States unwittingly sponsors these brutal killings and senseless systematic annihilation of neighborhoods, homes, apartment buildings , schools and even UN safe-sites. And the ICC looks the other way. The result of the United States failure to vote for Palestine as a sovereign and independent nation, will result in more murderous assaults, more of the same extreme annihilation of life, limb and property--the goal being--the complete and final extermination of the Palestinian people. Israels past behaviour indicates that she will this will continue the wanton violence against her once peaceful neighbors, until the entire boundaries of what had become Israel in 1947, is in the complete control of Israel. How is it Israel may be a state but Palestine, may not? Can somebody please pinch me to make sure that Im not dreaming this? Yesterdays UN vote favored Statehood with 9 in favor, needing only one vote, for Palestine to become a state and to recover some of the land they have been deprived. The United States was the only hold-out. The opportunity that was lost by yesterdays hold-out US vote will only logically, pave the way for Israel to mow-the-lawn, continuing the violence against the native Palestinians.And of course this equates to continued threats against US interests, worldwide. Please stand with us to foster peace in the middle-east--not more war. You and I will only foster more of the same, continuing destruction against Palestine until ultimately, there will be nothing left--unless we let our voices be heard. The US vote yesterday, was your vote and mine. Please do not allow Israel to buy more time to complete her plan of utter and total annihilation of the Palestinians. Tell your representatives or create a petition favoring Palestinian Statehood.
